Ian started his career as a Professional Footballer but had to retire at the age of 21 due to an injury. Ian found his way into Banking and now has over 25 years experience working in the finance sector, having spent 10 years at RBS, working in Commercial Banking and undertaking both Business Development and Relationship Management roles. In 2008, he set up a Commercial Finance Brokerage specialising in property finance and sold the business in 2017 at which point he joined a privately owned property fund providing short-term property finance, including bridging and development finance. Ian enjoys family holidays, football and French red wine
