About IM Capital

IM Capital is a principal lender of Real Estate Finance set up by Ian Hart and Mark Heyes in 2022, providing tailored funding solutions for the short and medium term. This includes Bridging Loans, loans for trading businesses and Development Finance for conversions/heavy refurb, on commercial and residential property in the UK.

Our strengths are providing short-term and medium-term loans to experienced operators and we always welcome the opportunity to chat about how we can help.

Meet The Team

Ian & Mark have over six decades of experience between them in the finance sector, having working in Relationship Banking, Business Development, Property Finance, Asset Based Lending and a Commercial Brokerage.

Ian

Director

Ian started his career as a Professional Footballer but had to retire at the age of 21 due to an injury. Ian found his way into Banking and now has over 25 years experience working in the finance sector, having spent 10 years at RBS, working in Commercial Banking and undertaking both Business Development and Relationship Management roles. In 2008, he set up a Commercial Finance Brokerage specialising in property finance and sold the business in 2017 at which point he joined a privately owned property fund providing short-term property finance, including bridging and development finance. Mark

Director

Mark has over 35 years experience working in the finance sector, having spent over 30 years with HSBC and RBS, working in Corporate & Commercial Banking and undertaking Business Development, Relationship Management and Leadership roles for both banks. In 2018, after 16 years with RBS, he joined a UK Challenger Bank providing property and ABL funding to trading businesses, before joining a privately owned property fund, based in Yorkshire, providing short-term property finance, including bridging and development finance. Having set up IM Capital with Ian Hart in 2022, Mark uses his all of his experience to provide lending solutions to a variety of sectors in the property market.
